Once upon a time, there was a little star named Twinkle who was afraid of the dark. Every night, she would watch as the other stars came out and twinkled brightly in the sky. But Twinkle would always hide behind the moon, too scared to come out.

“Why are you hiding, little star?” asked the owl.

“I’m afraid of the dark,” said Twinkle.

“But the dark is nothing to be afraid of,” said the owl. “It’s simply the absence of light. And light is always there, even if you can’t see it.”

The owl told Twinkle about the other things that lived in the dark, like the crickets and the frogs. He told her about the moon and the stars, and how they shone even brighter in the dark.

Harry was so far ahead that he decided to take a nap under a tree. He thought he had plenty of time to finish the race, even after he woke up.
